Required Application Documents (Please merge all documents into a single PDF):

We welcome talented prospective students from across the nation and around the world to apply for admission. Please submit your application using my application form (Request at itthipon.j@psu.ac.th), and attach one PDF file to itthipon.j@psu.ac.th. This would be an initial but crucial step to screen the application.

1. 1-Page Cover Letter (*Required)

2. Curriculum Vitae and List of Publications (*Required)

3. Statement of Purpose or Statement of Research Interests (*Required)

An applicant’s statement of purpose is very important and is given careful consideration in the selection process. There is no specific word limit, but be concise and specific in preparing your statement, giving information that demonstrates your level of preparation and potential for success in graduate school. Your statement may be no more than 2500 words. An applicant’s statement of purpose may be 2–5 pages. Specify what subdisciplines you are interested in pursuing. You should also include a couple of paragraphs showing your stand-out research and creative proposal that you would like to carry out during your graduate study. What are your research interests? What are your future goals? When possible, be specific about your research agenda. Remember that you will be working with us in research; therefore, your future research interests should parallel us. Please make sure you know the area of what we are doing and what is your own interests/skills. The applicant should address the past accomplishments within the realm of science, chemistry, technology, and/or engineering, why the applicant is qualified for our research team, and goals you wish to pursue while in our graduate school. You should describe how did you become interested in our lab? What experiences have contributed toward your preparation for further study in the research field? Align your research interests with our research themes. You can emphasize your determination to achieve your goals, your initiative and ability to develop ideas, and your ability to carry out research independently. If you have been awarded a scholarship or you already have your own financial support for doing Master's/Ph.D., you should include the statement describing your scholarship/financial support; this would be a stand-out application.
